A sign of hope in Dayton

Kevin Lush captured a rainbow this morning over Dayton, Ohio. What you don’t see is the herd of politicians — including the new mayor-elect, Gary Leitzell — off to the left, rushing to find that huge pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Sadly, the rainbow vanished before they reached the end of it. It’s too bad because all that money would have come in handy to create jobs, lodge the homeless and stem the bleeding of foreclosures throughout the City of Dayton, not to mention the string of dog parks they could have installed in and around the city.

Maybe the next storm rolling around. I’d buy some track shoes; it’s going to be a bumpy Winter!

About Rufus Dogg

I'm a dog who writes a blog. It is not a pet blog. It is a real blog that talks about real ideas. No, really. I do my own writing, but I have a really, really cool editor who overlooks the fact that I can't really hit the space-bar key cause I don't have thumbs. I talk about everything from politics to social issues to just rambling about local problems. And, sometimes I just talk about nothing in particular. Google+
