Life and work has been a lot like our dog walks lately. Up until this week, there has been a lot of snow on the ground, so the dogs walk while I spend a lot of time slogging through snow, shuffling on ice and climbing over snow banks, all the while trying to keep my gloves on and the “little bag of treasure” closed.
As a result, we have gotten out of rhythm.
I’m having one mutt tug and pull me along; the other I’m cajoling, coaxing and threatening to keep up.
We need to find that rhythm soon, for our physical and mental health. All of us.
