Life worth living is seen in the crop

by Rufus on December 20, 2009

It snowed yesterday and I would be horribly unneighborly if I did not share at least one photo from our morning walk. Here is the most beautiful thing I saw stepping outside my front door.

Pull back a little bit and you would see a snow-covered road that was a bit messy with tire tracks. Pull back further and my neighbors’ cars would be parked in all sorts of disarray.

It was also cold, the snow was turning into rain a bit and my paws were muddy. And I had just done my business on the tree lawn, so there was a bit of a steaming pile in a bag kinda stinking up the air.

But I choose to remember the first snowfall of the season as a snow-laden bush that glistened in the early morning sunrise.

Life worth living is in the crop. Focus there.
