This month, my mortgage payment adjusted up about $50.00 more each month than the previous year. It was not because my interest rate was adjusted, but because Montgomery County, Ohio needed more money.
In all fairness, I know it is not the bank getting more money and technically, my mortgage did not adjust. But, my wallet is still $50.00 lighter each month!
Way to go, Montgomery County. And what is unemployment in your county? How about foreclosure rates? Oh, highest in Ohio? Really? Wow. Raising taxes on us in this environment sure does take stones.
Now, I wonder who I can pass along my costs to.
