Would you push a blind man in front of a bus? Of course you wouldn’t. Yet many consultants do it every day.
Why? Because the blind man is a client and he is paying you to do it.
When a client hires you, s/he hires you for your expertise in something that s/he doesn’t know how to do. Yet many times, what ends up happening is the consultant, freelancer, whatever, ends of doing what the client says because the relationship most likely ends up as “I’m paying you, so do what I say.”
Even if that means pushing the client in front of an oncoming bus because he insists that now is the right time to cross the street.
