I was listing to the news on NPR about Benazir Bhutto’s assassination and they had a “man on the street” comment about Bhutto believing is was her fate that she would be murdered, blah, blah, blah and the following quote popped into my head:
“People who believe in fate are prey for those who believe they create their own destiny.”
Probably very cruel, but probably very true as well.
