What keeps Webinar attendees from bailing?

by Charlie on November 18, 2009

I got an email from the GoToMeeting folks with the subject line; “What keeps Webinar attendees from bailing?” and immediately thought:

Well, duh!
1. Charge for attendance
2. Create great content

And people will attend.

Most Webinars are rehashed crap designed like a bait presentation for a time-share condo on Key West. If you want to actually have your questions answered, that will take a detailed needs analysis by a qualified consultant, who will then present you with a plan that …. you’ve been there before.

But, on the off-chance I was wrong, I clicked through to download the study and was immediately assaulted by the signup screen below.

I didn’t bother. I already get way too much spam. I’m pretty sure I’ve already figured it out on my own.
